Emily’s tour of Provence exceeded our expectations.  My friend and I stayed in a lovely B & B that had wonderful, sometimes breathtaking, views.  The delightful staff at the B and B provided our group of 8 with sumptuous breakfast choices each morning. The tour was an excellent overview of some of the iconic sights in  Provence, stunning lavender fields as promised, and some lovely surprise experiences!  Food provided or in restaurants was first rate. Emily’s in depth knowledge of Provence made our trip a meaningful and memorable experience.

Emily’s tour is the perfect introduction to the beautiful region of Provence! My daughter and I joined her small group in June and had the most delightful time. The 2 inns where we stayed were gorgeous dream properties — plus both locations allowed easy exploration by foot during leisure time for anyone who wanted to spend more time in the quaint villages Unique to her tour is the opportunity to visit the nature preserve region of Camargue and spend time at a manade learning about Gardian culture and getting close to the animals. Loved the variety of the places we visited, and extra perks like the cooking class wine and olive oil tastings. Emily provided just the right amount of information at each site. And selected wonderful restaurants for our meals— including Michelin starred places. I’m so happy we chose her tour and would recommend highly without any reservations.

Emily knows the region, history and when the lavender is at its best photo moment. With her attention to detail, guidance and flexibility we arrived at events with the right lighting, early enough to avoid the crowding of tourists and was able to add a spontaneous stop for a rainbow over Gordes. Libations and local foods were well curated with choices for all palates. Lodging was comfortable with all the amenities. I especially enjoyed a swim in the luxurious pools. Our travel group of 6 seniors spent 5 days with Emily in Provence. We hopped villages in Luberon, viewed chalk cliffs in Cassis, spent time in alpilles region and Arles and St Remy. What a treasure it was  to partake in Emily’s Spring Poppy Tour. Out of the 7 of us traveling together, 5 were painters and two were not however there was something for everyone. Emily took our interests and custom designed the itinerary to meet our needs. Besides painting in breathtaking settings, some of the highlights were meeting the lovely local people and enjoying immersive experiences such as cooking in local homes,  learning about wines, and olive trees , even creating our own olive oil !
