Autumn is a unique time in the Camargue with the flora turning to its winter colors and the arrival of many birds for spending winter or resting on their route further south. We have a private ranch tour at Manade Laurent. five star review
"We booked Emily for a day trip to Avignon & the Pont du Gard. She was wonderful. She picked us up & dropped us off at our accommodation near Gordes. She accommodated all our requests to the point that the tour was extended at no cost. We had a lovely day visiting the main sites in Avignon and a lovely walk around the Pont du Gard. Her restaurant recommendations were terrific for both the day we spent with her and then her great recommendations for other restaurants in other towns we wer…"
"We spent almost a year planning our trip with Emily by email. She was patient and thorough guiding us in creating a truly personalized tour. From amazing lodging, brocantes, lavender sites, hikes, historical sites, vineyards and top restaurants, we had the perfect vacation! This may sound unusual to say, but Emily moved each day at a great pace, neither were we hurried nor were we late to any reservation. We especially enjoyed our conversations with Emily as we traveled along the narrow Luberon…"
""Dear Emily, The moment you returned my inquiry, your response was swift, professional and warm, a cut above and refreshingly reliable! You provided us with a jeweled itinerary, nuggets of different rich landscapes, the unknown history which made the 'to do' landmarks interesting and fun. The hiking to discover the history, the flora, was an absolute highlight, cycling along the canal, your organizing of epicurean dinners. Not to mention the accommodation you recommended, an insight into…"
"Truffle, Cuisine & Wine Tour - 2024 Yes, this is a food-focused week, which means excellent chevre, olive oil, truffles and plenty of good wine. But it's so much more. We checked out beautiful vistas, accompanied a farmer as he and his dog dug up some of the season's last truffles, visited a farmer's market, baked and cooked at the direction of talented chefs, and learned about Cezanne's testy relationship with his hometown of Aix. In between, we got to know Emily, who's knowledgeable ab…"
""I spent time on Google and found Emily’s Lavender Tours. Not wanting to drive this time around, Emily seemed to be the perfect solution. I wanted to spend some time in Sault, the lavender capital of Provence, as well as showing my family all Provence has to offer since most had never been there: Roman ruins, beautiful hill towns and incredible scenery, markets and lovely villages, castles and flowing rivers. Once our dates worked out with Emily and she got to know my preferences, we spent lots…"
""Thank you so much, Emily, for two wonderful days exploring the Luberon region and Cassis.  You were a wealth of information, and we learned so much from you. Our picnic outside of Gordes was delightful!  We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect guide.  We highly recommend you to anyone seeking an authentic cultural experience when in Provence." Jayne & Steve Pettler, Prince George, Virginia"
"This was our second tour with Emily and there is a reason. No one does small group tours with so much care as she. Unique accommodations, great food and good people. What more could one ask? Greg & Jill Carol, Florida "Emily’s Spring revival Tour was fabulous. If we had to choose one word to describe the tour it would be quality. This would cover all aspects of the tour from Emily’s Mercedes van to the outstanding accommodation, the delicious meals from picnics to fine dining restaurants…"
""2019 Lavender Tour This tour exceeded all of my expectations! The small group size made it easy for us to get to know each other and each day was such a treat! Emily shared not only her love and knowledge of her adopted country but afforded us a glimpse into life in Provence. She introduced us to local chefs, farmers, and artisans and each was colorful and engaging and passionate about their chosen profession and excited to share with us. We visited beautiful villages and ate marvelous local f…"
""A traveler is always faced with this secret dilemma…..once you have experienced the perfect tour, in the perfect place, arranged  by the perfect host, do you tell the world or do you try and keep it a secret just a while longer? Such is my dilemma having just returned from that 'perfect' week in Provence. I have decided to be magnanimous and share.  After all, the world needs as much 'perfect' as it can find right now. Emily’s Private Provence could just as easily be named Emily’s Perfec…"
"This is my third tour with Emily, so that alone says a lot. The itinerary is well organized and offers unique experiences. There is the right balance of activity and free time. Best of all the tours are fun!  You will laugh hard and eat well!! Eleanor Nazha, New York"
